Configuring Windows Server 2019 with NVMe-oF — — Nerd level 300-400
Windows Server does not have native support for NVMe-oF (RoCEv2) out-of-the-box so alternative approaches need to be pursued. I have been working with Broadcom on using their Stingray card to connect to the FlashArray. I will be presenting with Fazil Osman, Distinguished Engineer from Broadcom. Going to get into card design and details so be ready for some nerd time in this session.

Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server Nerd level 200-300
Our favorite saying when it comes to SQL Server at Pure Storage, “A Snapshot is not a backup!” Data protection is the #1 capability when it comes to any database. In this session Mark Pokorny, SQL Server Solutions Architect, will be covering the details of using a new product integration we have coming, I won’t steal the thunder on this one but if you manage SQL databases, you live in SQL Server Management Studio and you dig PowerShell check this one out. Hmmm…was that stealing a little thunder?
