As Pure Storage continues to innovate and extend our core platform it provides many opportunities to integrate or automate functional areas. Two publicly available examples of this integration are the PowerShell Toolkit and the Python library, both which leverage the use of the REST API.
The PowerShell and Python work provide a great start for 3rd Party Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to use as either examples to get started or better yet simply leverage them to quickly integrate with Pure Storage. A great example of just leveraging the existing work is from Emitrom who has taken the PowerShell Toolkit and integrated their orchestration and automation offering.

The potential for integration with our platform is just left up to one’s imagination. Check out the the PowerShell Toolkit and the Python library to see what is possible. We also have an active community of customers that are also providing some great examples of automation and extensibility.
