I dusted off some of the initial work that we (@CodyHosterman) did with the PowerCLI Actions Fling and initially we had some challenges with our 1.0 toolkit but with the evolution our toolkit, now at now 2.4 I believe those challenges have been overcome.
Last night I wrote some very simple PowerCLI Scripts that showed the integration works which was super exciting. I had Cody validate my excitement to ensure I wasn’t just seeing things and all of the sudden we started thinking of interesting workflows and we will both we sharing more in the coming weeks.
The above example is very simple, connecting to the Pure Storage FlashArray and querying for volumes and hosts. This example shows the basics of what can be accomplished. Cody and I will be working on some new scripts that will help with various tasks within vSphere when using Pure Storage.
