Pure//Accelerate 2017 starts next week and I wanted to build up some excitement for the Pure/Code() Hackathon that will be happening during the event. This will be an event for developers to create some innovative projects using an infrastructure of Pure Storage FlashArray’s that we will provide access to during all days of //Accelerate.
The environment has been setup so that developers have the following:
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows PowerShell 5.x
- Pure Storage PowerShell SDK 1.7.4.0
- Pure Storage PowerShell Toolkit 3.4.512.0
- Windows PowerShell ISE
- Visual Studio Code
—or—
- CentOS 7.2
- Pure Storage REST Client 1.8.0 (aka Python Toolkit)
Each developer will have access to their own Pure Storage FlashArray for development. The environments will have access to the internet so different tools can be pulled down to use as part of your development effort.
Last but not least, GitHub is sponsoring the event and will be bringing prizes, t-shirts, stickers and more. We will select winners on the last day of the event.
